Chad Bryson, MFT

Chad is a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate working at

the Center for Transformative Healing since August 2023,

under the supervision of Dr. Deanna Linville. He earned his

Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy (M.S. MFT) at

Oregon Institute of Technology, where he received specialized

training and certification in Integrated Behavioral Healthcare,

Medical Family Therapy and Advanced Systemic Addictions

Counseling. Chad has experience supporting clients with

substance abuse, addiction and the management of complex

biopsychosocial health concerns. Chad’s preferred theoretical

models/approaches for therapy are Solution-Focused Brief

Therapy (SFBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational

Interviewing (MI), and The Gottman Method. He

has experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and

families within outpatient settings. Before becoming a

therapist, he spent 13 years in full-time public ministry as a

pastor in a local Christian church in Klamath Falls, OR. During

his time as a pastor, he served alongside youth, couples and

families providing pastoral counseling and support through

various life challenges and transitions.

Chad’s clinical interests are Medical Family Therapy,

Addictions Counseling, Men’s Issues, Couples & Relational

Therapy, Anxiety & Depression, Divorce, Spirituality &

Religious Trauma, and Life Transitions. His hobbies and

interests include fishing and kayaking, but most days he can be

seen working around his family’s property on a tractor, cutting

and chopping wood, and spending time outdoors with his wife and children. Chad has been married for 7 years to his wife

Ashley and has 2 children.
